The VTCT Level 7 in Clinical Injectables enables delegates to participate in clinical training and experience under the guidance of our experienced level 7 qualified medical trainers.

The first part of the VTCT Level 7 in Clinical Injectables is held over 5 consecutive days Monday-Friday.

Following this, you will study via the online platform to complete the final modules for your Level 7 in Clinical Injectables.

Part One:

Throughout the sessions a background of aesthetic theory is provided with online teaching, as well as face to face discussions. This is followed by demonstrations and a chance to work hands-on on live models. These sessions provide a full level of training and practice in all areas of the face. You need to complete 30 Botulinum Toxin and 30 Dermal Filler treatments to fully evidence your competence in cosmetic injectables, and to move on to the next stage.

Part Two:

Once you have completed the 30 Botulinum Toxin and 30 Dermal Filler treatments, you will move onto the online platform where you will be able to complete the final modules to attain your VTCT Level 7 in Clinical Injectables.  This course is an excellent opportunity for those who have completed our foundation courses but are wanting to improve their level of confidence, as well as attaining a full knowledge base on how to inject confidently covering all areas of the face. It can also be beneficial for those with an already established aesthetic practice, as you can brush up on skills and techniques previously learnt.

THIS COURSE IS FOR REGISTERED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ONLY

Course Content Part One:

Day One- Botulinum Toxin Type – A  for Licensed Areas

Day Two- Dermal filler – lips and nasolabials

Day Three- Dermal filler- rejuvenation of the cheeks

Day Four & Day Five- Revision and Assessments

Online theory consists of anatomy, history and pharmacology of botulinum toxin and filler, complication management, ethical practice, advertising and legislature and accessing evidence based papers. 

Course Content Part Two (Online Only):

• Assessment One – Written Assignment: based on the history of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers, Patient Consultation, and Advertising in Aesthetic Practice.
• Assessment Two – Written Assignment: this is a short assignment to evidence literature review skills and evidence-based practice.
• Assessment Three – Online External Written MCQ Exam
• Assessment Four – Practice-based Assessment: This short practical assessment is for you to demonstrate competence in performing Botulinum Toxin and soft tissue filler treatments.
