Our advanced aesthetic and medical courses are open to registered doctors, dentists and nurses. We require the registration number of the relevant board (GMC, GDC, NMC) in order to confirm this. We do not offer training to anyone who has an open or pending investigation against them.

For our traditional beauty courses, please see the individual course requirements.

Yes, our Level 4 advanced aesthetic courses are open to therapists and non-medics who hold a Level 3 Beauty qualification. We also offer traditional beauty courses with varied entry requirements.

At Younique Aesthetics Academy we provide models for each of our training courses. However, if you would prefer to bring your own model this can be arranged, subject to a consultation with our Clinical Lead.

All of our courses are led by experienced educationalists with a wealth of knowledge in their specified teaching area. The Principal of our Academy, Aine Larkin (RGN, INP, pgDip, Msc, ARNP) has been involved with education since 2000 and has recently completed her PGCE in Medical Education.

We require photographic proof of ID- ie a Driver’s license or Passport. We also recommend bringing a tablet, or notebook and pen in order to take notes. Filming and photography will not be allowed on the day of the course.

Yes, you will receive a certificate from Younique Aesthetics Academy. If you have completed a course that is registered with an external exam body you will also receive a certificate directly from them.

In order to start any kind of aesthetic practice, it is necessary to gain the relevant insurance. Our medical courses are certified by Hamilton Fraser and they will be able to provide a quotation on completion of any of these courses. The VTCT (ITEC) courses are JCCP recognised and so many insurance companies will be able to offer insurance quotes on completion of these courses.

If you wish to cancel your attendance on one of our courses, notice must be given 4 weeks prior to commencement of the course.
