The VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetics has been developed for individuals with no previous experience or qualifications who wish to progress on to Level 4, 5, 6 & 7. This course is also suitable for individuals who have completed a CPD or accredited pathway and wish to have a regulated pathway for accessing aesthetic courses.
This course consist of five units which include:
- Skin analysis and facial skincare (assessed via practical assessment, assignments & multiple choice theory exam)
- Consultation and client care (assessed via written assignments & multiple choice theory exam)
- Anatomy, physiology and pathology (assessed via written assignments consisting of a workbook & multiple choice theory exam)
- Electrical science (assessed via written assignments & multiple choice theory exam)
- Maintain health and safety in the salon (assessed via written assignments & multiple choice theory exam)
